As one of MHRA's original pair of book series, T&D published slowly but steadily from 1970 to 2005, when the acquisition of Legenda gave MHRA greater capacity for book publishing. This enabled a rapid expansion, so that one third of the entire T&D list appeared in the final decade, 2005-15. The Bithell series was particularly active, with Ritchie Robertson as convenor: he continues this work as general editor of our series Germanic Literatures. Volumes 92, 94 and 98, apparently missing from the roster of titles, were originally edited for T&D but transferred to Legenda when the series closed: books by Caroline Ings-Chambers (92), Rhian Atkin (94), and Andrea Gullotta (98). |
