This is volume 3 of 3. See also volume 1 here and volume 2 here.

Erasmus himself wrote nothing in any of the European vernaculars, but a considerable portion of his work was translated into English in the middle decades of the century. Although there have been several selections of his writings in modern translation, no attempt has been made to present his work to a modern audience in the form in which it was experienced by many sixteenth-century English readers.

The three volumes of this edition will be comprehensive, enabling readers to follow the translation and reception of the full range of Erasmus’s work in sixteenth-century England. With the exception of the Paraphrases the texts included will be complete.
