See also volume 1 here. Laurette d'Alsace, daughter of the Comte de Flandre, was married to four members of the northern French aristocracy and finally retreated to the Abbaye de Forest in Brussels. She was to remain there until her death in 1170, and it was at Forest that she seems to have provided the impetus for this scholarly commentary on the Psalms both to be begun and, eventually, completed. This edition of the Commentary is presented in two volumes, originally issued as numbers 29.1 and 29.2 and in the MHRA Texts and Dissertations series.
