Oliver Pickering's endlessly fascinating new book The Poems and Songs of Henry Hall of Hereford: A Jacobite Poet of the 1690s is now out. (See Organist, Jacobite, Poet, Friend in these pages for a quick summary of who Hall was: basically, he was all of those things.)
Hall's working life was largely spent as the Organist of Hereford Cathedral, so it's only appropriate that this biographical edition of his work has now come home to Hereford. Here's Oliver presenting the book to Jennifer Dumbelton, the Librarian at the Cathedral today:
Bless, bless, bless Albion!
