Though postponed by Covid closures, the long-awaited launch of Ritchie Robertson's Festschrift was held at last at the Queen's College, Oxford, in the Old Library.

Edited by a trio of friends from the Oxford Sub-Faculty of German (left to right: Carolin Duttlinger, Charlie Louth, Kevin Hilliard), the volume has 23 contributions, under the title From the Enlightenment to Modernism: Three Centuries of German Literature. But we could easily have included twice as many colleagues, former students and collaborators – three times as many, quite likely.
