The latest in our series of yearbooks, Austrian Studies 29: Uncanny Valleys: Austrian Literature and Film in the New Millennium, came out in January. Every AS is really a book in its own right, and this one is having a launch, held online by the Ingeborg Bachmann Centre for Austrian Literature and Culture at the Institute of Modern Languages Research. With any luck, we are all now so accustomed to online gatherings that it won't be as uncanny as it might have been two years ago.
