We are very pleased to see that our collection Prismatic Translation, volume 10 in our Transcript series, has been shortlisted for a major prize: the ESCL Excellence Award for Collaborative Research. This prize is awarded by the European Society for Comparative Literature, and the four finalists will make presentations to the ESCL conference in September.

We congratulate all of the contributors and also Matthew Reynolds, who edited this large and ambitious volume, and who will be making its presentation. Ambitious for the typesetter, too: it includes many of the world's languages and scripts, and gives the Unicode standard quite a workout. (It's the only Legenda book to contain substantial passages in Egyptian hieroglyphics).
