We are pleased to announce a forthcoming Festschrift, for Ritchie Robertson, on the subject From the Enlightenment to Modernism: Three Centuries of German Literature. This will be published in 2021, to mark Ritchie's retirement from the Taylorian Professorship at Oxford. The airy, serene landscape on the cover is Jakob Alt's 1817 view of Vienna from the south, seen from the Spinnerin am Kreuz: that spire presiding over the whole city is, of course, St Stephen's.
