Tudor & Stuart Translations 25 will be Thomas Newton, Four Treatises by Cicero: Discourses on Friendship; Old Age; Paradoxes, and Scipio’s Dream (1577) in a new edition by Mandy Green. The original is now a rare find: 'Fouure seuerall Treatises', 'all turned out of Latine into English', and now mostly available, if at all, in auction-houses. We hope to make it more available.

St Dunstan's Church, Fleet Street, continued to be a publisher's alley until the twentieth century, though the actual building was demolished in 1829 as part of a road-widening scheme, which seems a sad end to a church heroically saved by schoolboys forming a fire brigade in the Great Fire of 1666.
