Adobe Acrobat PDF
In order to view and print PDF files (such as The MHRA Style Guide), you need Adobe® Acrobat® Reader installed on your computer. Most computers already have this software installed, but if yours does not, you can download Acrobat Reader for free from the Adobe Web site here:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html
When downloading a PDF, you should save the file to disk
so that you can refer to it when you are not connected to the Internet. [Operating
systems and browsers vary, but generally speaking Windows users can right-click
on the link and choose "Save As" or "Save Target As";
Mac users can control-click and choose "Download Link To Disk" or
"Save Link Target As".]
Remember the location you specify for the saved file on your disk, and, once
the file has been downloaded, open it with the Acrobat® or Acrobat® Reader
software.
It is strongly recommended that you use the latest available version of Acrobat® software. If this is not already installed on your machine you will need to download it from Adobe® and install it before you can open the downloaded Style Guide.
