Support for Scholarly Editions and Reference Works

The MHRA provides an invaluable service to scholarship in the modern humanities by supporting the production of major editions and works of reference that lay foundations for future scholarly work.

Support is provided through the Research Associateships scheme, which funds the work of a research assistant for a year.

The MHRA itself publishes the instalments of two major ongoing bibliographical projects, The Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature and the critical bibliography The Year's Work in Modern Languages Studies.
